TIHI COMPETITION MASTER TERMS
(Version 1.0 — February 2026)
These Competition Master Terms (“Competition Terms”) govern participation in any trivia competition or promotional contest conducted under the Tihi brand.
These Competition Terms operate in conjunction with the Tihi Terms of Use, the relevant Competition Schedule for the Competition, and the Tihi Privacy Policy.

2. Application of These Terms
2.1 These Competition Terms apply to all Tihi competitions unless expressly varied in the relevant Competition Schedule.
2.2 Each individual competition will have a Competition Schedule setting out specific details (including prize pool, dates and entry requirements).
2.3 In the event of inconsistency, the Competition Schedule prevails to the extent of the inconsistency.

3. Competition Formats
3.1 Competitions conducted by Tihi may be structured as games of skill, games including elements of chance, or other promotional formats.
3.2 The format of each competition, including whether winners are determined by skill, chance, or a combination of both, will be clearly described in the relevant Competition Schedule.
3.3 Where a competition is conducted as a game of skill, winners will be determined by objective performance criteria as described in the relevant Competition Schedule.
3.4 Where a competition includes elements of chance, random selection or draw-based mechanics, those elements will be disclosed in the relevant Competition Schedule and conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
4. Eligibility
Unless otherwise stated in a Competition Schedule, entrants must:
a) Be at least 18 years old at the time of the competition.
b) Be a resident of an eligible jurisdiction listed in the Competition Schedule.
c) Hold a valid Tihi account.
d) Comply with these Terms and all platform rules.
4.2 Employees, contractors and immediate family members of the Promoter may participate for testing or demonstration purposes but are ineligible to win prizes unless expressly permitted in the Competition Schedule.
4.3 Entry is void where prohibited by law.
5. Entry Requirements
5.1 Entry requirements (including whether payment, subscription or ticket purchase is required) will be specified in the relevant Competition Schedule.
5.2 Where payment is required:
Entry is only valid upon successful receipt of payment.
Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
The Promoter is not responsible for failed, delayed or declined payment transactions.
5.3 The Promoter may impose limits on the number of entries per person.
6. Competition Format & Scoring
6.1 Competitions are conducted via an online platform selected by the Promoter.
6.2 Where a competition is conducted as a game of skill, points may be awarded for correct answers and/or performance criteria as described in the Competition Schedule.
6.3 Where a competition includes elements of chance or random selection, the method of winner determination will be described in the Competition Schedule.
6.4 The precise competition methodology (including scoring and/or winner determination) is determined by the Promoter and will be described in the relevant Competition Schedule.
6.5 The Promoter’s scoring system and platform results are final unless a clear and demonstrable system error affecting scoring is identified.
6.6 The Promoter may audit results prior to confirming winners.
7. Technical Responsibility
7.1 Entrants are responsible for ensuring:
Stable internet connection
Compatible device
Functioning hardware and software
7.2 The Promoter is not liable for:
Internet failures
Platform delays
Device incompatibility
Latency differences
Service interruptions beyond its control
7.3 The Promoter may suspend, restart, modify or cancel a competition if technical failures compromise integrity.
8. Disqualification & Integrity
The Promoter reserves the right, acting reasonably and in good faith, to disqualify any entrant who:
a) Engages in cheating or collusion;
b) Uses artificial intelligence tools, automation or external assistance during live competitions;
c) Uses multiple accounts;
d) Provides false or misleading information;
e) Interferes with competition systems;
f) Engages in disruptive, abusive or inappropriate conduct;
g) Breaches these Terms;
h) Acts in a manner that compromises competition integrity.
The Promoter may suspend an entrant’s participation or withhold prize payment pending investigation of suspected breach.
The Promoter’s decision is final.
9. Verification of Winners
9.1 Winners must:
Provide government-issued identification upon request.
Provide proof of residency where required.
Ensure the Tihi account name corresponds with their legal identity.
9.2 Prizes will only be paid to a bank account held in the verified winner’s legal name.
9.3 Winners must respond within 7 days of notification unless otherwise stated in the Competition Schedule.
9.4 Failure to verify eligibility within the required timeframe will result in forfeiture.
10. Prizes
10.1 Prize details are set out in the relevant Competition Schedule.
10.2 Prizes are not transferable unless stated otherwise.
10.3 The Promoter is not responsible for tax implications associated with prizes. Winners are responsible for their own tax obligations.
11. Unclaimed or Ineligible Prizes
11.1 If a winner is found ineligible, the prize will be reallocated in accordance with the relevant Competition Schedule.
11.2 If a prize remains unclaimed after the specified claim period, the prize will be reallocated in accordance with the relevant Competition Schedule.
12. Cancellation or Modification
12.1 The Promoter may cancel, suspend or modify a competition where reasonably necessary due to:
Fraud
Technical failures
Regulatory requirements
Force majeure events
Circumstances beyond reasonable control
12.2 Any material changes will be communicated as soon as practicable.
12.3 If entry fees were paid and cancellation occurs before competition commencement, the Promoter will provide refunds where required by law.
13. Publicity & Marketing
13.1 By entering a Competition, entrants acknowledge and agree that if they are declared a winner, the Promoter may use their name, username, general location (city or region), likeness, image, voice, and statements made during the Competition, together with gameplay footage, recordings and competition performance (collectively, “Promotional Material”) for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in connection with the Competition and the Tihi brand.
13.2 Winners grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, edit, publish, communicate, display and distribute the Promotional Material in any media now known or later developed, including but not limited to social media, websites, digital advertising, paid advertising campaigns, email marketing, promotional videos and testimonials, for the purpose of promoting the Competition and Tihi’s products and services.
13.3 Winners acknowledge and agree that:
(a) no further consent is required for such use;
(b) no compensation, royalty or additional payment will be provided for such use;
(c) the Promotional Material may be edited, adapted or combined with other content, provided that it is not used in a misleading, defamatory or unlawful manner; and
(d) they waive any right to review or approve final promotional materials prior to publication, to the extent permitted by law.
13.4 Nothing in this clause obliges the Promoter to use any Promotional Material.
14. Privacy
14.1 Personal information is collected and handled in accordance with the Tihi Privacy Policy.
14.2 For UK and Ireland residents, processing of personal data will comply with applicable data protection laws including UK GDPR.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in a competition or use of a prize, except where liability cannot be excluded under law.
The Promoter is not liable for indirect, consequential or economic loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
16.1 These Competition Terms and any Competition Schedule are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
16.2 Any disputes arising in connection with a Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of another jurisdiction apply.
16.3 Participants are responsible for ensuring that their participation in a Competition is lawful in their jurisdiction of residence. The Promoter makes no representation that Competitions are lawful in all jurisdictions, and entry is void where prohibited by law.
16.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law and, where applicable, UK or Irish consumer protection legislation.
16.5 Where participants reside outside Australia, they acknowledge that the Competition is conducted in Australia and agree that any enforcement of prizes or claims will be subject to Australian law.
