Who we are & scope
Tihi is operated by Savee Group Pty Ltd (ABN 23 672 821 920), registered in New South Wales, Australia (“Tihi,” “we,” “us,” “our”). For most activities we act as the controller of your personal information (where applicable). We offer our services globally to individuals aged 18 and over. We handle personal information in line with applicable privacy laws and will honour the rights available to you under the laws where you live. Nothing in this policy limits your non-excludable consumer or privacy rights.
Information we collect
a) Information you provide to us
• Account & profile: name, email, username/handle, country/region, date of birth (used to verify you are 18+ and to help prevent fraud/abuse), postal and billing address, preferences, other personal information you provide, and your communications with us.
• Subscriptions & purchases: plan selections, renewal settings, discounts, and payment/billing information processed by our account/billing platform and payment processor (currently including Outseta and Stripe). We do not store full card numbers or security codes (CVV). We may receive limited card metadata (e.g., last four digits and expiry month/year) and billing address for records, fraud prevention, and support. You can update payment details in your account; we may also assist by submitting updates via our processor’s secure interface, but we do not retain your full card details.
• Gameplay & community: display name, nickname, email, avatars, chat/messages, submissions, and support tickets.
• Verification for prizes: proof of identity/age and delivery details when needed.
• Prize fulfilment & payouts: bank or payout details you provide solely so we can pay cash prizes (e.g., account name, BSB/sort code, account number, IBAN/BIC, or a payout handle such as PayPal/Wise). We use these details only to complete the payment and related support.
• Other information: any other information you choose to provide to us (for example, survey responses or feedback).
b) Information we collect automatically
• Technical data: IP address, device identifiers, browser/OS, language, time zone.
• Usage data: pages viewed, clicks, referring/exit pages, timestamps, session duration.
• Gameplay telemetry: join/leave events, question views, answers, scores and response times, anti-cheat signals (e.g., suspicious patterns, duplicate accounts).
• Approximate location derived from IP for fraud/abuse prevention and service performance.
c) Information from third parties
• Payment & billing partners: status updates, tokens, chargebacks, refunds.
• Anti-fraud & analytics tools: risk indicators and aggregated statistics.
• Social or single-sign-on: if you link an account, we receive the fields you authorize.
We may combine information from the sources above.
How we use personal information (and legal bases where required)
• Provide and operate Tihi: create/manage accounts, authenticate, run games, record scores, fulfil subscriptions, deliver prizes, and provide support (contract; legitimate interests).
• Fair play, safety, and integrity: detect/stop bots, multi-accounting, collusion, and abuse; investigate anomalies; protect users and services (legitimate interests).
• Improve and develop: monitor performance, fix bugs, and analyze usage to improve Tihi (legitimate interests).
• Marketing & communications: send service notices; send marketing with your consent where required (you can opt out at any time).
• Prize fulfilment and payments: collect and use payout details you provide to transfer cash prizes, handle payment queries, and keep necessary records (contract; legitimate interests; legal obligations such as tax/accounting).
• Legal, compliance, and enforcement: comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, and defend claims (legal obligations; legitimate interests).
We do not sell or share personal information (where “share” may be defined as cross-context behavioural advertising under certain privacy laws).
How we share information
• Service providers/partners who help us operate Tihi (hosting/CDN, gameplay platforms—currently including Crowdpurr, analytics, email/SMS, payout and payment processing, billing/CRM—currently including Outseta and Stripe, customer support, anti-fraud, and prize fulfilment). They may access personal information only to perform services for us and must protect it.
• Professional advisors (e.g., lawyers, accountants) under confidentiality.
• Authorities and third parties where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred subject to this policy.
International data transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. We use reasonable contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information during transfers. Where required by law, we may rely on standard contractual clauses or similar mechanisms.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the site (essential), understand usage, improve performance, and—where required and with your consent—for analytics and marketing. Use the banner or Cookie Settings to accept or reject non-essential cookies at any time. Essential cookies are necessary to provide the service.
Your choices and rights
• Data rights: access, correction, deletion, portability, objection/restriction, and withdraw consent (where these rights exist under your local law).
• Marketing opt-out: use the unsubscribe link or contact us.
• Cookies: manage preferences via the banner or Cookie Settings.
• Updating details: you can update most account details in your profile. For certain fields (e.g., address or billing details stored in our account/billing platform), contact us and—after verifying your identity—we can manually update them for you.
We may request limited additional information to verify your identity. Some data may be retained where permitted or required by law (see Retention). You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary to provide Tihi and for the purposes described in this policy, including operating the service, ensuring fair play, complying with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our Terms.
We apply internal rules to periodically review and delete or de-identify information that is no longer needed. Examples: transaction and subscription records may be kept for tax and accounting requirements; routine gameplay logs may be kept for a short operational period; records relevant to a dispute or investigation may be kept until the matter is resolved. Prize payout details are retained only until the transfer is completed and reconciliation and support queries for that payout are reasonably concluded, after which we delete or truncate those details. We keep proof of payment (e.g., transaction ID, date, amount, and a masked account identifier) for record-keeping and compliance.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. We will never ask you to send full card or bank details by email or chat. If you receive such a request, please contact us at hello@playtihi.com. Where required by law, we will notify you and/or the relevant authorities of a personal data breach. No security practice is perfect; please keep your credentials confidential and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Children
Tihi is for people 18+ only. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact hello@playtihi.com and we will take appropriate steps.
Winner information & transparency
If you win a prize, we use your information to verify eligibility, arrange delivery, and for required transparency. We may announce limited winner details (for example, first name, first initial of surname, and country/state) unless local law gives you the right to object, in which case we will respect that right. We may still need to provide fuller details to regulators or advertising standards bodies upon request. Full publicity terms appear in the Prize Terms for each promotion.
Relationship with our Terms
Our Terms of Use govern your use of Tihi. If this Privacy Policy conflicts with our Terms or any game rules in relation to personal information, this Privacy Policy controls. For everything else, the Terms control.
Your acknowledgement
By using Tihi, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. Where consent is required (for example, for certain cookies or marketing), we will ask for it separately, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will post a prominent notice on our website and update the Effective date at the top of this page.
